Join us Saturday, November 7th for a one day trip to Charleston, S.C.
7:00am – Depart Morris Travel parking lot at 3549 Wheeler Rd. in Augusta. Leave the driving to us on board your 47 passenger motorcoach.
12:30pm – Begin boarding our Spirit Harbor Cruise for a 1:00pm sailing from the Aquarium Wharf. If you don’t see Charleston from the water, you’ll have missed the best she has to offer. There’s no better way to experience Charleston and her history than from the decks of a Spirit yacht. Join us for a non-stop harbor tour and discover how fresh sea air, incredible harbor views and the history of the Old South can turn your tour of Charleston into a memorable event. One hour, thirty minutes past the palatial homes of the famous Battery, the Cooper River Bridge, Waterfront Park, Patriots Point, Ft. Sumter, Ft. Moultrie and the bustling seaport. Conclude at 2:30pm.
2:45pm – Pick up our step on tour guide at the Visitor’s Center. Begin our 3:00pm, two- hour comprehensive overview of this charming and graceful city. Charleston is one of America’s most historic cities. Founded in 1670 by English colonists, it was once the cultural center of the New World. Sightsee through the old walled city to the current all American city it has become.
5:00pm – Dinner is included at California Dreaming located on the Ashley River. Our menu selections include your choice of Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine Marinara, the Fried Shrimp Platter, Baby Back Ribs, Broiled Salmon Salad, Prime Rib, the California Dreaming Salad and more; your choice of beverage (soft drink, tea or coffee) and French Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. We will then head back to Augusta!!
Price of $115.00 per person includes motorcoach transportation, the harbor cruise, city tour and dinner. Lunch will be on your own. Payment in full by October 2nd will confirm your reservation.
